Welcome aboard! A fine artist, Rebecca Burg has been unable to resist the joy of visual art ever since childhood. Because her studio is on the sea, her completed paintings were available only through limited outlets. Now, with onboard wireless internet technology, the artist can maintain contact with collectors and art lovers worldwide. You can peruse her latest work in the comfort of your own home without having to go out to sea.
The artist paints onboard her classic Bayfield cutter. Inspired by travels to exotic Caribbean and Mexican ports and by the beauty of her natural surroundings, Burg’s realistic paintings are vivid celebrations of light and color. She is most known for her depictions of rare, exotic wildlife and thoughtful spiritual themes that reflect the traditional ways of her native ancestors. Educated with an engineering and technical background, the artist is also an ABYC certified marine electrician.
